Yod (Finger of God)

A Yod consists of two planets sextile each other (60°) with both forming quincunx aspects (150°) to a third planet — the "apex." It is called the Finger of God because the apex planet receives constant, uncomfortable pressure for adjustment. Yods are associated with fated themes, compulsive energies, and profound purpose. The apex planet represents the focal point of a specific karmic mission.
