Square

A square forms when two planets are 90° apart (orb ±8°). It creates friction, tension, and challenge between the two planetary energies. Squares are often associated with obstacles, frustration, and the need for effort — but they are also the driving force behind achievement. A Mars square Saturn can create frustration and blockage but also tremendous disciplined drive when consciously channelled.
