Navamsa (D9)

The Navamsa (D9) is the most important divisional (Varga) chart after the Rashi (main) chart. Each sign is divided into 9 equal parts of 3°20′ each. The Navamsa reveals the soul's deeper purpose, marriage partner's nature, and dharmic path. Planets in Navamsa that are stronger than in Rashi become prominent in the second half of life. Planets vargottama (same sign in both Rashi and Navamsa) are exceptionally powerful.
