vedicMangal Dosha (Kuja Dosha) occurs when Mars occupies the 1st, 4th, 7th, 8th, or 12th house of the natal Kundli. Traditionally it indicates intensity, conflict, or early separation in marriage. However, numerous cancellation conditions (Dosha Bhanga) exist — and Dosha is also cancelled when both partners have Mars in similarly intense positions. Modern Vedic astrology treats it as an indicator of passionate, intense relationship dynamics rather than a guaranteed negative.
