Intercepted Sign

An intercepted sign occurs when a zodiac sign is entirely contained within one house, with its cusp not beginning any house. This happens in Placidus, Koch, and other unequal house systems at extreme latitudes. Planets in intercepted signs have difficulty expressing outwardly — their energy is more internalised, suppressed, or delayed until consciously developed. Signs are always intercepted in pairs (opposite signs).
